What does each house do?
Take care of each other. You can decide if this means phone calls, greeting cards, visits, offering rides, taking church mail. There is no limit to what you could imagine!
In your month:
Check with your House Leaders to see where help is needed, especially with making coffee after worship on Sundays.
Ring the bell at the start of worship.
Help the ushers (Larry Sigurdson, head usher) as needed – welcoming people at the doors especially. Make sure the toddler toys and slippers are available at the back of the worship space.
On your way out after worship, make sure: a) the food bank donations are put away in their plastic bins in the parish hall, and b) the garbage and recycling carts are taken out to the alley.
In winter, help with clearing snow. At any time of the year, help pick up litter around the building.
Be welcoming. And be prepared to help with any special events as needed.

"I love preaching and administering the sacraments. The daily and weekly engagement with scripture is endlessly fascinating. I love participating with fellow Christians in God's restoration of the world. And I love the opportunity to be involved in people's lives over many years."
